What We're Doing
We are currently working on solving a mystery in The Eleventh Hour. This book is the story of a boy who plans a celebration for his eleventh birthday, but one of the guests steals the feast just before they're ready to eat. The students are working on finding hidden clues in the story and eliminating suspects until they discover the identity of the thief. At this point, we have eliminated two of the eleven suspects. We are learning about decoding hidden messages and using the dictionary to look up new vocabulary words along the way.
