We are continuing to work on our Genius Hour projects. After finishing with their research, the students have been able to choose how they would like to present their learning. Several of the students have chosen to create websites using Google Sites, and two students are making presentations using Powtoon. The video below is a Google Sites tutorial that the students are using to understand more about making their own websites. The students are moving at different rates, so some of the students have already presented their projects and some are almost ready to present. Be sure to ask your child about his or her project. If the project is a website or Powtoon, you can ask to see it at home. When the students do their presentations, I will video them so that you can see your child showing off all of his or her hard work. For the students who have already presented, they can access the video of their presentations in Google Drive at home if you would like to see it. After each student presents, he/she gets to watch the video privately and reflect on what went well and what can be improved for the next presentation he/she has to do at school.
